Welcome to the Table: A Little About Me and a Whole Lot About Why We’re Here

If you’ve ever eaten chocolate standing in the pantry, skipped yoga to watch Grey’s Anatomy reruns, or made dinner by putting peanut butter on a spoon and calling it “protein-forward”—Hi. I’m your person.

I’m Kerri. I’m a Gen X empty nester, certified health and wellness coach (via IIN), Pampered Chef consultant, lover of cozy things, and the kind of coach who won’t ever tell you to give up sugar forever. I mean… have you had coffee without sugar and creamer? That’s not a life I want to live.

After years of feeling stuck, starting and stopping health plans, and wondering why “getting it together” felt so dang hard, I realized something: the wellness world was missing a big piece. Real life.
The messy, snack-filled, back-on-track-again-every-Monday kind of life.

So I made my own version.

FLY to the Table was born out of a desire to make wellness feel welcoming. Not overwhelming. Not all-or-nothing. And definitely not green-juice-or-bust.

This blog, Pull Up a Chair, is an extension of that idea.
It’s where we’ll meet each week for:

  • Freshly Brewed Mondays – A warm pour of mindset shifts, laughs, and just enough motivation to make the bed.

  • 🥂 Friday Sips – You made it. The snacks are prepped, the playlist is queued, and I’m raising a metaphorical glass to you.

  • 🍞 Sunday Spreads – Wellness, meals, mindset—all helpful tips to set yourself up for the week.

I’ll share everything from what I’m cooking (hello, Pampered Chef air fryer obsession), to what I’m working through, what I’m laughing at, and what’s helping me show up in my own life—imperfectly but with heart.

So whether you’re here to get inspired, feel seen, learn how to make a sheet pan dinner that doesn’t suck, or just to hang out with someone who gets it—your seat at the table is ready.

Thanks for being here. Let’s do this thing—messy, honest, and full of flavor.
xo,
Kerri
